Surprise Surprise

Today I went out with Jacqueline my cousin as well as my sister and we went to makan Blue Mountain Cafe at Iluma.. :)

We left around 5PM and my sister, having some time to spare, came down with me to the arcade to watch me have a go at IIDX. :)

So I did and on the last stage, I decided to play Time to Air [A] with Cat..

And I finally finally passed! Non-Random style! :D

Anyway, I also passed Ristaccia [A] and Waxing and Wanding [A] (Finally on my card) a while back as well as HC some of the 11s like Anisakis.. Wowee, I'm making some fantastic progress!

Anyway, alcohol is getting to me, I bathe, go play a round of L4D 2 and then go koonz.

The training kinda paid off cos now I can play and press alot more better for IIDX. Now I'm going to play more chord and on-beat songs to train up my rhythm skills. My accuracy still sucks. But for Pop'n, my accuracy improved but the pressing deproved. :(

IIDX

12 Sept 2010:
- Passed B4U Remix [A] with 100%. CHEEBONG YES!
- Raised my Colorful Cookie [A] score to 2000! :D
- Raised my Kamaitachi [A] score from a B to an A!

13 Sept 2010:
- Nearly passed Holic with 78%. Sucks to be me. :(

Pop'n

12 Sept:
- Raised my Star Hero EX score to 94.6K! WHOOYEAH BABY!

Imma go try out Holic again tonight.. But study first man! :)

Long overdue update. :)

Hey all!

This is long overdue but I passed Do It! Do It! [A] weeks ago and just yesterday, I passed Mental Meltdown [A]! With 100 percent man! :D

Dunno why the jacks part for Mental Meltdown, I could actually play and get 94% from it.. Damien and WX said that I should have just hard cleared. D: Maybe playing at Iluma does wonders. :D I passed quite a fair bit of songs and such.. Only problem is that it's too hot over there. Just like a sauna. D:

Anyway, off to do my work.. Aiming for 10 Dan and hopefully, I can get it soon. Colourful cookie is the ONLY problem I have and it rapes the shit out of me to no end. D:

Pop'n Notechart Guides

For newbies or intermediate players, I found two Japanese websites that gives a guide to the note charts from level 3 to 22 HERE and from level 23 to 35 HERE.. They analyse songs by the notecharts and tell you if there's rolls, stairs, chords, killer endings, etc according to levels and it might help you a little for your journey in the world of Pop'n Music. It's updated till version Pop'n 18. The level 36 to 43 one isn't updated much so I wouldn't post it up. Yeppadoodles.

IIDX and Pop'n

Did some accomplishments today on both Popn and IIDX! :)

For IIDX, I cleared Inori [A], Marie Antoniette [A] and finally Kung-Fu Empire [A] on AC. One More Lovely [A] raped my ass at the ending but the middle part playable with a good random. :) Grats to Danz who managed to clear! :D

For Pop'n, I cleared Momo Visual EX and Tree in Lake (Contemp) EX.. Both 38s that I never expected. Also cleared two new 40s that I never expected and that would be Pop Ensemble EX and Mongol Remix EX. Whooshies. Happy happy! Next up is Flowers EX, Peri Deesu EX and Fantasia. I swear you'll be mine. :)

IIDX and Pop'n

Today was a good day. :) And so were the two days before. Cleared quite a lot of stuff on both popn and iidx.

Let's start with Pop'n:

1. Cleared my first 41 today at Bugis - Soul on Fire EX
2. @Bugis and Iluma: Cleared Rin to Shite EX, Pure EX, Ali Pro 1 EX
3. @Iluma: Cleared Forest Snow 1 EX,  Ali Pro 2.

Frigging happy.. Made a new list to target including the darn PERI DEESU EX. D: Raaaawr.. Keep on dying at the end. Dammit. D:

Anyway for IIDX, I passed a new 11 on CS aka Marie Antoinette [A]. :) Abused the sudden+ for the speed change and voila! A new pass! :)

On AC, I also passed a new 11 aka R5 with a border clear bonus. And today, I nearly cleared the Deep Striker. Just that the ending.. I got so tired I just BLEAGH and screwed up. D: Oh well.

Anyway, I will pursue my goals and post more when I get more achievements. Till then~

Clear a few 11s on AC yesterday..

Cleared the bitch song called Inazuma [A] and Anisakis [A] on AC. Close to passing The Deep Striker [A] at 72% and Gold Rush [A] at 70% (passed Gold Rush at home already).

As for popn, cleared Second Heaven EX 39 and was one bar away from clearing Fantasia EX 39. Irritating bitchy songs. Next up would be Ali Pro series and Starmine. Ain't going to touch Fantasia for a while until I improve.

Anyway, just ordered my Dao today and sharing with Damien. ^___^

YESTERDAY NEW ACHIEVEMENT!

I finally passed DROP [A]! :D Happy happy day! Tyco pass is tyco.

In addition, I passed an unexpected song in CS: Smooooch [B].. :D

+1!

Now time for clearing some songs called "Naughty Girl@Queen's Palace" [B]. Hell yeah..

Now if only I can squirm my way around The Deep Striker in AC like I did in CS.

Hmm. Mmmm...



Anyway, I cleared some lvl 38 songs on Popn yesterday too! :D Awesome shit is awesome! ^__^

HELLO!

Just came back from 3 rounds of Pop'n and 1 round of IIDX during lunch! :)

Popn update!

Passed Trinity Arrow and Ignited Nights! Both lvl 39.. xD

Ignited took 3 tries and Trinity.. Well.. I passed it on my first try. Got a shocker of my life as I expected to fail.

Anyway, back to work. Ciaossu!

IIDX 9 and Pop'n 3

26th May 2010.. Marked the day I passed another level 11 on IIDX.. :)

• Programmed World [A] NC

I'm one step closer to my goal in 10th Dan.

On a 2P side, I'm starting to clear more level 8s. Need to practice. Maybe I'll get my KOC tonight. :)

In addition, my staple level to play Pop'n is finally lvl 36/37.

I'm slowly getting there. One step at a time. Watch me! :D

IIDX 8, Pop'n 2

I would like to curse and swear today.

Today I was super on-form at the arcade. Sadly no e-amuse so had to depend on a camera phone to be my "portable E-amuse" :(

Anyway, down to business.

4 new 11s for IIDX cleared in arcade =:

• Sun Field [A] 88% NC
• Waxing and Wanding [A] 96% NC (HUGE SHOCKER)
• Kung-Fu Empire [A] 8X% NC (ANOTHER HUGE SHOCKER)
• The Deep Striker [A] 92% NC (finally passed it at the arcade but.. NO CAAAAAAARD! (&^$#*^#^%#)

And as for Pop'n... I got a huuuuuuuuge jump at the same time surprisingly. :)

I finally clear a lot more 35s, 36s including the crazy Lamento by Asaki.

Also clear my first 39! TENJOU NO HOSHI EX IS MINE! Muahahahahahaha! :D Only dropped health at the scales at the slow part. :D Shioooookadoodless!

I've passed yet another 4 level 11s yesterday and on Previous Days:

Yesterday: 

• Vanessa [H] 82% (after 3 attempts, I finally managed to press the back part. :D)
• The Deep Striker 80% (ZUN ZUN on 2nd try!)
• Space Fight [A] 86%
• 華蝶風雪 [A] 90% (I would NOT be able to clear it if not for Random. The last part never fails to kill me off.)

Other days:

• Laser Cruster [A] (Cannot remember the percentage.)
• Contract [A] 100% (I got a shock.)
• Ganymede [A] 8x% (After 2 tries man.. After 2 tries.)
• Almagest [H] 86% ( :DDDDDD YAY! )
• Rainbow Flyer [A] 8x% (Finally. Just finally.)

Level 10 HCs @ Arcade:

• Dominion [H] HC
• Sunrise [A] HC

I finally got a normal clear on Almagest on my OWN CARD. Like finally. :P

HELL YEAH! 

Almost passes would consist of:

• G2 68% (I had a good random.. :( )

TIME TO AIR. I swear I will get my revenge. Now the ending just pisses me off. D: Makes me get blisters on my poor fingers due to the never-ending chord-y jacks.

BAHRAM ATTACK [B] IS ALSO GAY AT THE ENDING. It forces my hands and fingers to play TWISTER for goodness sakes! D:

Hopefully I can convert the "Almost Passes" into "PASSES" maaaaan. D: Soon soon. :D

11 more level 11s in premium best to clear.. Including Rainbow Flyer which I have already cleared at the Arcade.

Now time to hit the Troopers disc since I'm lending Daniel my Empress + Gold discs to burn.

Hey there again!

I have fantastic updates on my IIDX life! :D I passed a heck lot more 11s in these past 2 weeks.. *grins*

I can’t remember offhand what I passed last week though besides

• Session -1- Genesis [A] (Omg.. I screamed.)
• Genocide [A] (FINALLY)
• Programmed World [A]
• And one more.. But I reeeeally can’t remember. Ugh.

Hmmm.. But I do remember what I passed this week!

On Monday, I passed Halfway of Promise [A] 84%/86%

And yesterday, I passed 3 new 11s..

• Bloomin’ Feeling [A] 86% (This was a complete shocker.. Two attempts yesterday on the arcade machine and poof! OAO)
• Xenon [A] 88%
• Murmur Twins [A] 86% (Also another shocker..)

I realized that now I’ve got newer targets to achieve! Namely:

• The Dirty of Loudness [A]
• Smooooch [B]
• Naughty Girls [B] (This is relatively doable. Just the ending effs me up which I have to learn how to press the effed up chords + scratch.. :) )
• Rainbow Flyer [A] (I GOT 84% but I missed the row of scales and then POOF down to 74%. FARK.)
• Time to Air [A] (I can finally catch more at the ending. But waxing and wanding is still serving to screw me up.)

Hahaha.. Anyway, back to work.. Watch out for this space! :)

IIDX 5

New achievement yesterday!

I passed Rage against Empress yesterday.. Level 11 - Another with about 88 or 90%.. It's a 9th dan song for Empress CS so quite an achievement I must say. ^___^ Happy.

Another would be Fly Above [A] HC AAA-8

That's 8 flashing greats for a AAA grade. Sucks to be me.

This space would not be updated for the rest of this week because the Dao caused my two thumbs to grow abrasions along the sides so it kinda hurts.

Hopefully my accuracy and my pressing skills won't deteriorate during this period of time. Hopefully.

Let's see how it goes.

On a final note, I'm starting to be able to be accurate for rolls. :) Quite happy. *dances on the spot* Right hand has to learn how to be more flexible to cover the white buttons though. Hrumphf.

Smooooch Black Another - level 11 is farking fun although it rapes my ass silly. :) Hopefully I can clear it in 2 weeks.

I finally passed 2 level 11s.. One is relatively easy. The other is a scratch-infested song. OAO

IIDX 3 and Popn 1

YOZ! A new achievement!

I got 3 new achievements yesterday but didn't have enough time to update it here..

• Wonder Bullfighter [A] 80%
• Anisakis [A] 80%
• DXY! [A] 100% (I got a shock of my life.)

Another achievement would be Hyper Chinese Pop by Terra (lvl 37) CLEAAAAR at Bugis with 87K! I jumped for joy! :D

Maybe I'll put up pictures soon of all the achievements.. Pity I didn't get the pic on Aurora [A] pass..

And another thing.. I accidentally wiped my Empress data on my PS2 clean. Dammit. :( Oh well. Guess I have to reachieve my achievements again. :)

I can't believe it. After attempting it like 6-7 times over the past 2-3 days. I tried playing a shit load of other songs. And now after 2 attempts..

Second Heaven was a huge surprise 'cos I tried it twice and the second time round... I passed! :D
